As part of the Science for Stronger Societies (SCIENCE&FUTURE) project coordinated by Sakarya University, the 2024/2025 Researchers at School event was held on April 21, 2025, at Üzeyir Garih Middle School. The program featured university researchers and students who conducted presentations and workshops specifically designed for middle schoolers, focusing on critical issues such as climate change, natural disasters, and the environment. All scientific content was carefully tailored to ensure it was accessible and appropriate for the students' age and educational levels.
The presentations and workshops organized during the event were aimed at fostering scientific thinking skills among the students. By engaging with these topics, the program sought to build a deeper sense of awareness regarding environmental and social challenges, encouraging the younger generation to take a proactive interest in the well-being of their communities and the planet.
