tike Hanım Anatolian High School Hosts "Researchers at School" Event
The second "Researchers at School" initiative was recently held at Hendek Atike Hanım Anatolian High School.
Organized on December 20, 2024, the event was part of the "Science for Stronger Societies" (SCIENCE&FUTURE) project, led by Sakarya University. Project coordinator Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emiroğlu kicked things off with an opening speech, setting the stage for a day dedicated to collaboration. Throughout the event, university researchers and high school students teamed up for various presentations and workshops, diving deep into critical topics like climate change, natural disasters, and environmental protection.
Once the sessions wrapped up, Prof. Dr. Emiroğlu, serving as the Dean of Research, handed out certificates of appreciation to School Principal Recep Yazıcı and the teaching staff for their hospitality. Principal Yazıcı reciprocated the gesture by presenting Prof. Dr. Emiroğlu with a plaque of gratitude. The day concluded with everyone gathering for a commemorative group photo.
