The event, which began with an introductory presentation, was attended by Derince District Director of National Education Ayhan Erin, along with various academics and educators from Derince Melikşah Anatolian High School. Following the opening, Associate Professor Şenay Çetin Doğruparmak and Associate Professor Simge Çankaya delivered a presentation titled "Do You Know Your Family's Carbon Footprint?", which was then followed by a film screening focused on the theme of climate change.
The program continued with a hands-on workshop, also titled "Do You Know Your Family's Carbon Footprint?", conducted under the supervision of Professor Beyhan Pekey, Professor Ayla Arslan, Associate Professor Şenay Çetin Doğruparmak, and Associate Professor Simge Çankaya. The gathering concluded after the distribution of certificates of appreciation and a commemorative group photo session.
