As part of the Science for Stronger Societies (SCIENCE&FUTURE) project coordinated by Sakarya University, the 2024/2025 Researchers at School event was held on December 27, 2024, at Akçakoca Anatolian Imam Hatip High School. The program featured university researchers and students conducting presentations and workshops for middle school students, specifically focusing on climate change, natural disasters, and environmental issues. All scientific content was carefully adapted to match the age and educational levels of the participating students.
The presentations and workshops organized during the event aimed to bolster the students' scientific thinking skills while fostering a deeper awareness of environmental and social challenges. By engaging directly with researchers, students were encouraged to explore scientific solutions to global problems, helping them develop a more conscious and proactive approach toward sustainability and disaster resilience within their communities.
