As part of the Science&Future project, funded by the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and coordinated by Sakarya University with Kocaeli University and Düzce University as partners, academics from Kocaeli University met with students at Yahya Kaptan Middle School. This inaugural event aimed to increase awareness among primary and secondary school students regarding climate change, natural disasters, and the development of resilient cities. With the participation of 60 students from Yahya Kaptan Middle School, the activities focused on encouraging a deeper understanding of sustainable development and the essential steps required to build resilient urban environments.
