A series of activities were held at our school as part of the "Researchers at School Event" of the project titled Science & Future: Science for Stronger Societies, supported under the MSCA & Citizens program within the scope of Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
On December 20, 2024, the "Researchers at Our School" event was organized under the coordination of Sakarya University as part of the SCIENCE&FUTURE project. The event, where researchers and students from Sakarya University and Atike Hanım Anatolian High School conducted presentations and workshops on topics such as climate change, natural disasters, and the environment, commenced with opening speeches by District National Education Branch Manager Osman Yılkın and Project Coordinator Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emiroğlu.
Following the presentations and workshops, Dean of Research Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emiroğlu presented certificates of appreciation to our School Principal, Recep Yazıcı, and our teachers for hosting the event. In return, our Principal Recep Yazıcı presented a commemorative plaque to Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emiroğlu.
